'Climate Stripes'

Not-your-basic friendship bracelet. This piece is a simple depiction of 'climate stripes', or yearly average temperature anomalies (cold and hot years!) over the last 70–90 years (depending on bracelet size). The concept for 'warming stripes' was first visualized by Professor Ed Hawkins at the University of Reading.

Most bracelets will show a generic or global temperature trend, but if you'd like to have a bracelet depicting the climate stripes for a specific city, simply say so in the personalization bar! (You can view climate stripes for major cities all over the world at https://showyourstripes.info)

Please look over our sizing chart (last image) to see how different sizes will look. Typically, 6-inch bracelets will fit narrower wrists, 7-inch bracelets fit average wrists, and 8-inch bracelets fit wider wrists. Our bracelets are built to hug your wrist and stay in place, so if you want a looser fit, make sure to size up!

We try to use the best quality beads--we include a mixture of Swarovski crystals, fire-polished Czech beads, hematite spacer beads, and more. Bracelets are made with 0.8mm (single strand) or 0.5mm (double strand) polyurethane stretch cord.
